I purchased this dining set on Craigslist for $300 and revamped it. The painted finish had yellowed, so I used liquid deglosser to prepare the surface and primed and repainted the chairs with Rustoleum Satin White Universal Spray Paint and used Rub 'n Buff to highlight the carved details on the edges. I painted the caning gold on the side chairs. I also reupholstered the seat cushions and the caning on the arm chairs. I still have the base of the table and one side chair left to redo. 
I am very pleased with how my "new" dining room set turned out. It has been a lot of work, but it has also been very rewarding. Below is also a before picture of my dining room and the most recent after picture. There is still work to be done in this room, but I am currently enjoying it in its current state.

Great Job girl! I see that you are just starting out and I also see that you are going to be a great blogger! You have sooo much talent! Can I say this: Please keep posts coming because you never know who wants to follow you, but may be hesitant because of your few post. Even if you are doing posts about inspirational photos are little some things that may not be something that you have done. I can't wait to see what else you do with your first place.
